In order to get admission into the top medical colleges in Karnataka, which are aided by the government, the Department of Medical and Training Education, every year conducts CET (Common Entrance Test) to qualify for the first year course of MBBS. Also, this is the criterion to get through the admission with some of the privately owned institutions.
